PASSPORT

The passport we carry is important. I just returned from a delegation to South America, and my passport was a welcome reminder; I'm glad to be a citizen of my country. (By the way, I had some Internet problems which interrupted Enjoy Life, Enjoy God...sorry.) Yet as a Christ-follower I am reminded something more of my citizenship.
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control... - Philippians 3:20,21 TNIV
Paul reminds the Philippians that they carry another passport, citizenship in the kingdom, in the Body of Christ. The earthly citizenship, as precious as that may be, is secondary to a passport marked in Christ.
Today, as you count your blessings, give thanks to the passport Christ gives us. And let us live as citizens in Christ's dominion and kingdom.
