Megachurch pastor, Bill Hybels, wrote a fine book on prayer and harried people's lives: Too Busy Not to Pray. It's a sermon in a title.

Jesus spends three years with his followers, concludes his instructions to them, and then turns to prayer. John 17 shows Jesus praying when everything is on the line. The content of this great prayer enlightens our own prayers. However...

He prays. We'll examine the prayer a bit over the next several days. But he prays. At a minimum we can follow his example. He prays. His last moments with his followers, and he prays. Today, make it a priority. Pray. Pour out your heart and mind to your Father in heaven.
