Even the most self-confident of us often feel inadequate thinking, "If you really know me..." It's a common thought, each of us knowing our faults and flaws, to be somewhat insecure.

God calls Moses to one of the greatest challenges a human has ever faced: To lead the people of God out of slavery in Egypt. Why? Why Moses? The Bible tells us absolutely nothing to answer the question "why?" He had a Harvard MBA, or possessed amazing leadership skills? Nope. Nothing. At best we can conclude the reason it was Moses was because God chose him, Moses.

You. God has chosen you, as well. It's not because you are so talented, so virtuous, or have such outstanding skills and experience, but because you are God's. You are special to God because he made you to be just you, and no one else. And you are an important part of God's work in the world today. Yes, you!
